Job Summary:
The Currituck Chamber of Commerce seeks a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual to provide administrative support and coordinate events. This role involves managing daily operations, planning events that engage the business community, and promoting the Chamber’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration:
- Handle phone calls, emails, and visitor assistance.
- Maintain Chamber member records and correspondence.
- Manage office supplies and vendor coordination.
Event Coordination:
- Plan and execute events like mixers, luncheons, and workshops.
- Collaborate with members and sponsors on agendas and promotions.
- Provide on-site event support.
- Collect feedback to improve future events.
Communication & Outreach:
- Build positive relationships with members and stakeholders.
- Create promotional materials and respond to inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Experience in administration or event coordination.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time, 14-20 hours/week.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate based on experience.
