Part-Time Office Administrator and Events Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Currituck Chamber of Commerce seeks a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual to provide administrative support and coordinate events. This role involves managing daily operations, planning events that engage the business community, and promoting the Chamber’s mission. 
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration:

  • Handle phone calls, emails, and visitor assistance.
  • Maintain Chamber member records and correspondence.
  • Manage office supplies and vendor coordination.
Event Coordination:
  • Plan and execute events like mixers, luncheons, and workshops.
  • Collaborate with members and sponsors on agendas and promotions.
  • Provide on-site event support.
  • Collect feedback to improve future events.
Communication & Outreach:
  • Build positive relationships with members and stakeholders.
  • Create promotional materials and respond to inquiries.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in administration or event coordination.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
Work Schedule:
  • Part-time, 14-20 hours/week.
Compensation:
  • Hourly rate based on experience.
